✓ AURIS is an Uzbekistan industrial automation company specialising in truck weighbridges, weighing systems, access control, and cloud-based automation.
✓ Their cloud platform digitalises truck weighing by connecting weight indicators, cameras, traffic barriers, position sensors, and operator equipment to a central cloud-based system.
✓ Rigolink X100 edge gateway provide wired and dual-SIM cellular connectivity, RS232 & RS485 interfaces, secure VPN communication, automatic failover, and digital I/O for access-control automation.
Truck weighbridge operations are held back by three interconnected problems: fragmented devices from multiple vendors that speak different protocols, unreliable connectivity in remote or semi-industrial locations, and manual processes that leave weighing records vulnerable to errors, tampering, and cyber risk. Together, these issues make each deployment hard to standardize, costly to scale, and risky to operate.
Unified weighbridge automation with Rigolink devices The Rigolink edge gateway acts as the backbone of every installation, tying weighbridge equipment to the cloud and keeping the whole site running as one connected system. Connectivity first. It holds three internet paths in priority order — wired Ethernet, the primary SIM, and the backup SIM. A dropped connection triggers automatic failover, so a truck never has to wait at the barrier while the network catches up. Every byte travels through a secure OpenVPN tunnel to the cloud infrastructure. Indicators, cameras, and control devices stay off the public internet entirely, yet still reach the platform in real time. Device agnostic. The gateway connects to weight indicators via RS232 and RS485 serial links, supporting either a weighing display or a weighing filling controller without redesigning the deployment. Serial data is converted to TCP/IP and transmitted through the same encrypted tunnel. Full automation loop. An SE800 industrial Ethernet switch wires together four IP cameras and the operator's PC, turning the gateway into a complete evidence-gathering hub. Front and rear cameras capture license plates, make, model, and colour; an overhead camera confirms cargo; a cabin camera records the indicator display and operator actions. These feeds enable automatic vehicle identification — no manual entry, no disputed records. Digital I/O signals then guide the truck through the entire visit: relays raise the entrance barrier, position sensors confirm the vehicle is centered on the platform, and once the weight is logged, the exit barrier opens and the traffic light switches. One gateway, all the work. It replaces a cabinet full of separate components: routing, cellular failover, VPN security, serial-to-IP conversion, camera and PC connectivity, and full access-control automation. This consolidation lets our partner roll out the same design to any customer site — regardless of indicator brand or internet connection — delivering the same fast, traceable, hands-off weighing process from entrance to exit.
